When I married a man who is an automotive technician (mechanic) and the owner of a car, truck, and motorcycle repair shop, I never dreamed that I would actually get involved in the automotive industry. After years of resisting I consented to work for the family business as well as running my other business in fitness and exercise. I have discovered that vehicles are very much like people in the way they respond to being treated. Just as proper nutrition, exercise, and wellness check-ups can keep you healthy, the maintenance of your car directly affects how long it will run well.
In mythology, the Moon Goddess Artemis rode in a silver chariot (or perhaps a moon beam) and probably did not experience many breakdowns. However today's mechanical chariots insist on maintenance to keep us "flying."
All Moon Goddesses should have a basic knowledge of their cars needs and this page of my website will help you learn just that.

Does your car sputter, squeal, groan, tap, or knock when it starts, goes, or stops? Could its mood swings be PMS?
NO! But it probably needs PMS!
Preventative Maintenance Service is the loving care you give your car to help the mood swings of surprise repairs. PMS goes beyond the occasional oil change and includes inspections, replacement of wearing parts, and fluid flushes.
Following a schedule of PMS, at 3000 - 5000 mile intervals, takes care of your car at less cost than waiting for a breakdown.
Your cars owner manual includes recommended PMS intervals. Your automotive technician can also track service intervals with computer software, even sending you reminders and pre-booking your next PMS appointment.
Welcome PMS into the life of your car and avoid those pesky repair mood swings!
Gas Station Drive-Byes
Another topic on the minds of many is the fluctuating gas prices. You can add miles to every gallon you pump at the gas station by following a few easy and inexpensive maintenance steps:
Gas Saving Tip #1 Make sure your gas cap is tight and undamaged
Gas Saving Tip #4 Replace clogged air filters to save about 15 cents per gallon.
Gas Saving Tip #6 Avoid excessive idling which gets zero miles per gallon
Gas Saving Tip #7 Maintain a constant speed on the highway
Gas Saving Tip #8 Combine errands into one trip - save gas and time.
Gas Saving Tip #9 Avoid carrying unneeded heavy items in the trunk.
Motorcycle Moon Song

Most of my favorite Moon Goddesses love motorcycles, especially Harleys. We find that whether you ride your own bike or sit behind someone special, it is always a special time riding with friends on the open road, going to motorcycle rallies and other events, and sharing our favorite two-wheeled adventures.
